LG ELECTRONICS' STYLISH NEW LCD MONITORS NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH U.S. RETAILERS

User-Friendly Series Offer High Contrast Ratios for a Crystal-Clear, Life-Like User Experience

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Mar. 31, 2008 - LG Electronics today announced the nationwide availability of three new series of LCD monitors designed to deliver an enhanced gaming, graphics or multimedia experience. Previewed in January at the 2008 International CES®, LG's three new lines of elegantly designed LCD monitors (the W52, W00 and L7W series) are available at Best Buy, Circuit City, and other leading electronics retailers across the United States.

LG's distinctive technologies such as contrast ratios of 10,000:1 Digital Fine Contrast Technology produce a crystal-clear image that is more color-correct and lifelike, for an optimal viewing experience. The W52 and W00 series also offer "ez Zooming" technology, allowing users to quickly change the image size and resolution with the click of a button, an ideal tool for smaller fonts or images that need to be magnified.

"LG Electronics appeals to the consumer by merging superior technologies and contrast ratios with stunning design," said Marc Sorkin, senior marketing manager for IT products, LG Electronics USA, Inc. "LG's new monitors have taken cues from our trend-setting line of LG HDTVs and, as a result, look terrific in the home or office."

W52 Series - Design that Packs a Punch

LG's flagship W52 series LCD monitors, ranging in class sizes from 19- to 24-inches, were developed for those seeking sophisticated style and user-friendly technologies. Their dramatic design is enhanced with a high-gloss, piano black cabinet and a curved bezel accent to elevate the look of a home office.

All LG monitors use the proprietary f-ENGINE picture-enhancing chip for desktop monitors. LG's f-ENGINE enhances brightness and color independently of each other, which makes these units perfect for gaming, and graphic or video intensive projects. The W52 series starts with a retail price of $229.95 for the 19-inch (18.9-inch diagonal) model $279.95 for the 20-inch (20.1-inch diagonal) model, $319.95 for the 22-inch (22.0-inch diagonal) model and $499.95 for the 24-inch (24.0-inch diagonal) model. Additional features include:

* "ez Zooming" technology
* 10,000:1 Digital Fine Contrast Technology
* 2ms response time (19-inch and 22-inch monitors)
* 5ms response time (24-inch monitor)

W00 and L7W Series - Making Technology Work for the Consumer

LG's W00 series (model numbers W3000, W2600) effortlessly blends advanced technology with a slim and narrow design - perfect for desks that never seem to have enough room. The 26- and 30-inch class "Full HD" 1080p monitors are perfect for consumers who work with graphics-intensive applications such as CAD/AutoCad, or those that work with graphic or video editing in high-definition. The 26-inch (25.5-inch diagonal) unit is available for $599.95 and the 30-inch (29.7-inch diagonal) is available for $1,399.95. Features include:

* "ez Zooming" technology
* 10,000:1 Digital Fine Contrast Technology
* 5ms response rate
* Wide Color Gamut Technology

Users working in offices with fluorescent or harsh lighting will appreciate LG's 22-inch class L7W series (model L227WT) monitor that incorporates an anti-glare screen minimizing distracting light reflections. Wide Color Gamut technology expands the range of displayable colors offering users superior picture quality and a more vivid viewing experience. The 22-inch (22.0-inch diagonal) model is available for $339.95. Features include:

* 2ms response rate
* 10,000:1 Digital Fine Contrast Technology
